🧤 Man City have no answer against rock solid Brighton star

Man City were left frustrated for a second consecutive Premier League match as they followed a 2-1 loss at Aston Villa with a 1-0 home defeat to Brighton.

The Citizens fell behind in the 11th minute and couldn't find a way back into the contest.

Ultimately, it wasn't for a lack of effort as Enzo Maresca's side had 21 shots, 1.92 XG and five big chances at the Etihad.

On a different day, City may have run away with the game after falling behind, but Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen was in red-hot form to prevent Erling Haaland and co.

Was that the best goalkeeping performance of the 2026/27 season so far?
