Premier League festive fixtures in full: Christmas and New Year schedule revealed

Arsenal set for London derbies over festive period

The Premier League schedule for the festive period has been released.

The English pyramid is known for not having a break over Christmas and New Year, and this season is no different, with games spread across the 12 days.

Sky Sports and TNT Sports share the television rights to broadcast the matches live, although that is heavily weighted in the former’s favour.

TNT have just two games to show over the festive period, which land in their traditional Saturday lunchtime slot, with Boxing Day falling on a Saturday this year.

They will be no ordinary weekends, however, with the bulks of encounters landing in midweek slots instead.

On Boxing Day, there are just three fixtures, with the headline being Manchester City’s trip to Newcastle in the evening slot, while Liverpool head to Hull at tea time.

The following day, Chelsea take on club legend Frank Lampard’s Coventry, while Manchester United host Nottingham Forest. Arsenal cross the river to play Crystal Palace that evening.

Tottenham face Roberto De Zerbi’s former side Brighton on December 29, with Man City back in action at Everton that evening as well.

Arsenal remain based in London as they visit Fulham on December 30, while Chelsea travel to East Anglia to take on Ipswich.

Man City playing host to Spurs is perhaps the biggest contest across the whole festive fixture list on January 3.
