Tottenham Hotspur are considering a sensational double swoop for Manchester City's Savinho and Omar Marmoush.

It has been an exciting transfer window for Spurs fans, who have already seen a number of high-profile arrivals through the door.

Among those faces are Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke and Andy Robertson, although it appears as though Roberto De Zerbi still has spaces left in his first-team for further additions.

It's clear that the chiefs in north London are doing everything in their power to avoid a repeat of last season's lacklustre 17th-place Premier League finish, with Spurs boasting a revamped defence and midfield thanks to a summer of big spending.

However, it now appears as though the attacking line is set for a makeover, with Savinho and Marmoush highlighted as potential targets.

As per the Athletic, talks between the Lilywhites and City are advancing, with a view to facilitating a double move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ahead of next month's transfer deadline.

Savinho has seemingly been deemed surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium, dropped from Enzo Maresca's squad during last weekend's 3-0 Community Shield loss to Arsenal.

Spurs were thought to be interested in signing the Brazilian winger 12 months ago, with a price tag of around £43million being floated around.

However, City ultimately refused to sell Savinho, instead, extending his contract until 2031 at the close of the window.

Marmoush has also seen his future in Greater Manchester thrown into speculation as a result of limited gametime. The Egyptian forward spent large parts of last season playing second fiddle to Erling Haaland, and could see fresh pastures as an opportunity for more consistent minutes.

It comes as De Zerbi said late last month that another transfer "bomba" is on the way, having already spent well over £200m on new talent.

"The transfer market, it's not finished for sure, but we completed 60% of our project in the transfer market. Now we have another bomba."

Whether that "bomba" will come in the form of Savinho and Marmoush remains to be seen, although it is clear that Spurs aren't done with their business this summer just yet, with hopes of establishing themselves as genuine Premier League contenders once again this coming season.
