Van Nistelrooy speaks on injuries & Vardy farewell, more PL managers soon
Hear from Premier League managers throughout the day ahead of a busy weekend action, which is headlined by Saturday's FA Cup final.
We'll be hearing from a whole host of managers this afternoon, with Mikel Arteta likely next up ahead of Arsenal's home game with Newcastle.
After spending almost the entirety of the season in second place, the Gunners could drop into third if they lose to the Magpies, who are now just two points below them.
He has also confirmed Vardy will start and captain the club on a special day.
"Of course he will be leading the team out on Sunday." said van Nistelrooy.
"It is important to prepare the match like I always do. Today and tomorrow is big in that. Prepare the team as best as we can as staff for the team to perform as well as they can, that is the most important thing I can do and the rest is up to him and he will be ready for that."
Sunday will all be about Jamie Vardy , who will play his 500th and final game of a Leicester career that to most makes him the greatest player in the club's history.
Van Nistelrooy has been effusive in his praise of the legendary striker.
First up is Ruud van Nistelrooy, who could be taking charge of his final Leicester home game against fellow relegated side Ipswich on Sunday.
The Dutchman has confirmed there is no fresh injury concerns for his side, and Ricardo Pereira could make a return.
