Derby vs Birmingham halted as player goes down off the ball and medical staff rush in

Derby County's Championship clash with Birmingham City was brought to a halt after Henrik Meister went down with no players around him. Medical staff were rushed onto the pitch to attend to the Rams' forward.
They took their time to ensure the Danish striker's neck was stable before moving him onto a stretcher. The 22-year-old, who is on loan with the Championship club from Serie B side Pisa, was applauded by all four corners of the ground as he made his way off the pitch.
Play was halted for around seven minutes while Meister received treatment, going down in the 47th minute just after the half-time interval.

He was replaced by Oscar Fraulo in the 54th minute, with play resuming and Meister was taken straight down the tunnel.
Derby County had taken the lead just before half-time when Bobby Clark found the bottom corner from a tight angle after being set up by Sammie Smodics.
However, their lead would last just two minutes with Birmingham equalising through Carlos Vincente after a Liam Millar cross.
The Blues would take the lead not long after the restart following Meister's medical incident. Substitute Seung-Ho Paik converted another Millar cross from close range to easy any immediate pressure on Chris Davies.
Birmingham found themselves in 15th place before the visit to Derby, having played heffield United, Bristol City, Wrexham, Southampton, Wolves and Norwich, who all hopeful of winning promotion this season.
"I don't think anyone in the Championship had a harder start than us in terms of opposition," Davies told BBC Radio WM. "It's not an excuse it's a fact.
"We've got some decent results in this period - we've got to keep that same competitiveness and come out of it with a few more results and then we can really push on.
"I want us to be right up there. We've been competitive in every game, had some decent performances and results. We've acquitted ourselves well during that period but of course we want more points.
