'Hamstring has been declared fit' - Rodrigues eyes return to action after three months of rehab

India batter Jemimah Rodrigues on Friday announced she had recovered from the hamstring injury she sustained in August.
Rodrigues picked up the right hamstring injury on August 3, while playing for Southern Brave in the women's Hundred in Cardiff. The BCCI's medical team later confirmed it was a high-grade tear and eventually ruled her out of the T20 Asia Cup in the UAE in August-September, and the Asian Games in Japan in September, both tournaments India won.
She also missed the just-concluded ODI and T20I series against Zimbabwe at home, which India won 3-0, in both formats.
In an Instagram post, she said that her "hamstring has been declared fit". "After 3 months of rehab. Now I can't wait to get going (sic)," she further added in the caption.

India's next assignment is a multi-format tour of South Africa in December, when they will play a one-off Test, three ODIs and as many T20Is. She is also likely to play for Mumbai in the ongoing Senior Women's T20 Trophy.
