Is Kane now England's greatest ever player? Have your say on the Ballon d'Or winner

Harry Kane has himself a Ballon d'Or - making him one of only five Englishmen to achieve the feat as he continues to add to his already decorated CV.

The Bayern Munich ace is shattering records in Germany, helping the Bavarians continue their domestic dominance, and is likely to set an England goals record that could stand for decades, if not longer.

Kane as a player is hard to criticise, but those wanting to pick holes in his career will ask where's the Champions League? Where's the international honour?

These are things that Sir Bobby Charlton, arguably Manchester United's greatest, could boast. Kevin Keegan claimed the European Cup and scooped the Ballon d'Or twice. And that's before you consider the great England players who never landed a Ballon d'or - a Wayne Rooney, a Bobby Moore or a Jimmy Greaves.

In light of Kane's success former Arsenal and Manchester City star Samir Nasri was scathing, he said: "OK, the statistics made the difference. He's a fantastic player with so many qualities. But he's never been the player who carried his team somewhere or made his team win in the very big matches. There's often a slight weakness."

Those who've played with Kane would likely push back on that, but does his latest exploit mark him out as this country's greatest ever player?
