Manchester United entertained Manchester City at Old Trafford earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a positive result in the Manchester derby. The home team made a good start to the game and found themselves a man ahead in the 23rd minute when Phil Foden was given his marching orders by the referee. Michael Carrick’s players went into the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.

Man United failed to make their numerical advantage count in the second half and conceded the opener in the 60th minute when Erling Haaland found the back of the net. The match ended with Carrick’s men suffering a tough 1-0 loss at the Theatre of Dreams.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player fared during the clash against Manchester City.

GK: Senne Lammens – 6/10

He made one good save at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet this evening.

RB: Diogo Dalot – 6.5/10

Dalot did his fair share of defending and was lively going forward.

CB: Harry Maguire – 6.5/10

He performed his defensive duties well and was good on the ball.

CB: Lisandro Martinez – 6.5/10

Martinez made a few crucial clearances inside his half and was accurate with his passing.
