The report claims that West Ham have demanded a €130m (£112m) transfer fee from the Champions League holders for both Summerville and Fernandes.

PSG have yet to submit a formal offer to West Ham but the report describes the French club’s interest as ‘concrete and very real’.

Fernandes was signed by West Ham from Southampton for £38m plus £4m in add-ons last year.

United are focusing on a deal for Fernandes after cooling their interest in a move for Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson .

Manchester City have seen their second offer for Anderson, worth £120m with add-ons, rejected by Forest and United are refusing to enter a bidding war with their rivals.
