Tottenham predicted XI for Nottingham Forest clash as Roberto De Zerbi can hand out three debuts

Tottenham's frenetic summer transfer window has come to an end and they'll look to get their season on track against Nottingham Forest

Tottenham travel to Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon, having lost their first two Premier League matches of the season. Roberto De Zerbi's side are yet to score a top-flight goal thus far.

After consecutive 17th-placed finishes, Spurs spent big this summer. A total of £394million has been committed to new recruits, with the club's transfer record broken twice, first for £85m man Mateus Fernandes, who joined from West Ham and then for Sandro Tonali, whose Newcastle move could end up costing £100m.

The club's monumental rebuild included 54 total outgoings and incomings in an unprecedented window. But with the deadline now passed, the focus has to shift to results.

In net will be Antonin Kinsky . The Czech shot-stopper has been handed the reins to begin the season, as Guglielmo Vicario has departed for Juventus on an initial loan deal.

He has started all three of Tottenham's matches so far this season and will be in between the sticks against Forest, barring any last-minute disasters. Martin Dubravka was signed on a free from Burnley in the summer and looked a valuable deputy in pre-season.

With a capable right-winger now fit, Pedro Porro can move back into his right-back position. He was enlisted further up the pitch against Newcastle but can now drop and Spurs can utilise the World Cup-winner's excellent crosses from deep. Archie Gray is relegated to the bench.

At centre-half, whilst new man Tosin Adarabioyo has been handed the No. 4 squad number, it is unlikely he starts against Forest. Jan Paul van Hecke and captain Micky van de Ven will be the centre-back pairing.

However, that isn't to say that Tosin won't make an appearance. Although De Zerbi didn't withdraw either Van Hecke or Van de Ven against Newcastle, he could opt for a fresh pair of legs late on if his side are trying to hold onto a lead. Tosin may just be handed a debut.

At left-back, Destiny Udogie now appears okay to begin games and so he should reclaim his starting place, with Andy Robertson on the bench should he be needed.

In midfield, the absence of James Maddison means Spurs are still shifting players around. Sandro Tonali will, of course, anchor proceedings and Mateus Fernandes is needed higher up the pitch, so Rodrigo Bentancur slots back in.

There is a possibility that Conor Gallagher will be used as a No. 10, as he was in pre-season, but De Zerbi will probably stick with the midfield that was used against Newcastle.

Omar Marmoush started up front against the Magpies, but he could be utilised differently versus Forest. He has played as a second striker before off someone like Erling Haaland, so it can't be ruled out that he is dropped into the No. 10.

But it could be that he starts the game inverted on the left. Mathys Tel was uninspiring in the left-wing position against Newcastle and Marmoush has operated here before for Manchester City. He can cut in and drive onto his right foot, play off a central striker and enable Udogie to make his marauding, overlapping runs.

Dominic Solanke is the man through the middle. His hold-up, back-to-goal style will be more attuned to facing Forest's two physical central defenders, who will need to be pinned. This can free up a player like Marmoush.

On deadline day, Tottenham signed Mykhailo Mudryk on an initial loan deal from Chelsea and while he won't be fit enough to start, he can make his debut off the bench. Late in the game, his speed can help spread the Forest backline.

Savio is the third star De Zerbi can grant a debut to on Saturday. Of course, the Brazilian has made his competitive debut for Spurs, coming off the bench in the Charlton win and grabbing a goal and a strike-turned assist that looped in off of Ben Davies.

But this can mark Savio's Premier League debut as he introduces trickery off the right. Mohammed Kudus waits in the wings, too, with Tel dropped.
