Manchester City are considering a move for Roma midfielder and Manchester United target Manu Kone, according to the Daily Mail.
The 25-year-old impressed making five appearances for France at the World Cup this summer.
City eye further midfield signings
After selling both Rodri and Tijjani Reijnders in recent days, Enzo Maresca’s side are planning to bring in multiple midfield reinforcements before the end of the transfer window.
It is believed that both Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi and Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez remain targets, while the Sun report that City could also move for Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton.
Jesus turns down Napoli
Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has turned down a potential move to Napoli, according to the Mirror.
The Brazil international has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates, with both Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres preferred ahead of him by Mikel Arteta. The 29-year-old is now into the final year of his contract and could still leave this summer.

Inter Milan have agreed a £30 million deal to sign Curtis Jones from Liverpool, says Fabrizio Romano.
The 25-year-old will join fellow England internationals John Stones and Djed Spence, who have already made the switch to the Italian side this summer.
